Culture is a vacuum, again
Man, there sure is a downside to being interested in ideas and reading about them then having realizations and adjusting your beliefs/actions/goals/lifestyle accordingly, because it alienates you from so many of your peers. Just, shedding people left and right lately. Nothing personal. This momentum is delicate. Jack London made me do it.

Song of the Open Road
Afoot and light-hearted I take to the open road, Healthy, free, the world before me, The long brown path before me leading wherever I choose. Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune, Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need nothing, Done with indoor complaints, libraries, querulous criticisms, Strong and content I travel the open road […] From this hour,...

like liquid art
through the curves and shards

five tears on my face, but
never more like myself
i am home.

I want to get lost; to learn not to care; to learn to value true wealth above all else; to see the world and not only realize my potential but to EARN it through personal struggle and life experience. I want...

blua:
May all beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May all beings have happiness and the causes of happiness.
May all beings live in peace, free from greed and hatred.
May all beings rejoice in the well-being of others.
Reading things like this makes me stop considering relapsing.

a poem for men who don’t understand what we mean when we say they have it

privilege is simple:
going for a pleasant stroll after dark,
